Unique Yarns, Inc. Order Policies

Shipping

Orders are shipped the next business day after they are recieved. You will receive email notification as soon as we receive your order. You will receive another notification upon shipment with shipping information and delivery confirmation number. If we have any queries regarding your order, we will contact you by e-mail or the telephone number you provided with your order.

Shipping on orders up to $74.99 is $4.99.

Shipping on orders $75 and over is FREE.

We currently ship only to the United States.

We accept Visa and MasterCard.

Special Orders

It may be possible to Special Order an item. Please contact us via our email contact form, or by phone at 1-815-282-5481. Special Orders are non-refundable and non-cancelable.

Returns

Your complete satisfaction is very important to us so any items sent in error or any defective items may be returned for full credit or replacement or exchange. We will absorb all shipping costs for these errors.
If your order was correctly filled, we will gladly accept your return for yarn in original unopened condition. However, there are no refunds on shipping and handling costs on correctly filled orders.

We accept returns on unused yarn in its original condition with receipt. Returns made within 30 days of original purchase will be credited in the form of original payment. Returns made between 30 and 60 days will receive a Unique Yarns, Inc. online or in-store credit.  No returns can be accepted after 60 days of original purchase due to dye lots and seasonality of items.

We’re sorry, but we cannot accept returns on wound yarn, books, magazines, needles, accessory items or special orders.

Canceling or Altering Orders

You can cancel or alter your order at any time prior to its shipment. Altered orders may be subject to a small delay as the order is repackaged, etc. Please have your order details ready when contacting us.

Off-line Orders

Orders may be called in with credit card payment. Your goods will be dispatched as soon as possible under the same terms and conditions listed on this Web site.

Inventory

Although we try our best to maintain an accurate inventory count on our Web site, there are rare occasions when you may order an ‘in stock’ item on the internet that is ‘out of stock’. We will do our best to fill your order quickly and contact you to let you know when to expect shipment or give you an option to cancel for full refund. If your order contains multiple items, we can either wait for the out-of-stock item to arrive and ship everything together, or ship the order separately.

Item Details

Unique Yarns, Inc. takes great care with the descriptions and photos of the products as they appear online. Every reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions are accurate. However, description specifications are subject to change and Unique Yarns, Inc. cannot be held responsible for discrepancies, either real or perceived.  Information submitted by vendors on yarn products or companies will be treated as public information, and some or all of that information can appear on the Unique Yarns, Inc. Web site at the sole discretion of Unique Yarns, Inc.. We have also made every effort to ensure accuracy of our photos but colors will vary from monitor to monitor.
